1. Acceptance of Terms
These terms govern your use of the iOS app "Kenshin Note" (the "App"). "Developer" refers to the developer and provider of the App. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms.
2. Medical Disclaimer
The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical care.
- The App is intended for recording, organizing, and visualizing general health information such as annual health checkup results.
- Nothing the App displays, including color-coded reference ranges, graphs, and trends, constitutes medical diagnosis, treatment, or preventive advice.
- Always consult a physician or other qualified medical professional for health decisions or concerns.
- Never delay or discontinue medical consultation or treatment because of information shown in the App.
3. License
The Developer grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
- Redistribute, sell, or lease the App
- Interfere with the operation of the App
4. Your Data Responsibility
All App data is stored on your device (and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud account). You are responsible for backing up your data. The Developer is not liable for data loss caused by device loss or failure, deletion of the App, or similar events.
5. OCR Accuracy
Scan-based auto-input (OCR) is a convenience feature and its results are not guaranteed to be fully accurate. Always review and, where needed, correct the extracted values before saving.
6. In-App Purchases
The App's Tip Jar is an optional in-app purchase for supporting development. Tips are a gesture of support, not payment for additional features or services. Payments are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system, and refunds follow Apple's policies.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App and its associated designs, logos, and content belong to the Developer or their rightful owners.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability
- The App is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App, including data loss and damages resulting from health-related decisions.
9. Changes to These Terms
The Developer may update these terms as needed. Material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute related to the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Developer's place of residence.
